Random multipliers may also be assigned to positions during the feature. If a position already contains a multiplier, the new value is added to the existing multiplier. The combined multiplier is then applied to the corresponding Special Symbol when the feature ends or when that symbol’s value is collected by a Moon.
The Moon Symbol Takes Centre Stage
The collecting Moon Symbol is one of the game’s defining mechanics. When a Moon lands during Hold & Spin, it collects the current values of all Special Symbols displayed on the gameboard, including Mini, Minor and Major symbols.
The collected total is added to the value of the Moon Symbol, and the respin counter resets to three. This interaction allows the Moon to gather the value already visible across the reels while extending the feature and creating another opportunity for Special Symbols or multipliers to appear.
Crimson Castle also includes the Triggering Moon Feature. This feature may activate randomly whenever at least one Special Symbol is present on the gameboard. When activated, it places enough additional Special Symbols onto random positions to reach the six symbols required for Hold & Spin. The main feature then begins according to its standard rules.
